ABSTRACT
Middle Asia, near by Altay Mountains, is thought as a region where Turk’sancestorscame in sightbyscientists. In, Middle Asia Andronova culture, Turks gave up being an in sufficent agricultural society so they created steppe culture. Because of the culture based on nomadic elements in Middle Asia, this society had original traditions. Nomadic culture affected Miiddle Era, even it became on other reason for establishing majör states. One of these major state sruler Alparslan conquered Anatolia and won Malazgirt victory, so Anatolia became Turkısh home land. Kahramanmaraş and its vicinity has a convenient climate and geography for nomadic Turkish tribes, Steppe Turkish tribes discovered Anatolia B.C., conqured after XI. Century A.D. Maraş and its vicinity became a significant center for nomadic Turkish tribes.
