Abstract
There has been an increase in recent studies on Aṣḥāb al kahf in Turkey. We have performed this study with the idea to make a contribution to the available studies. We have evaluated information on Aṣḥāb al kahf included in the book written by Qadi Ahmad of Nigde in 1333. Afsin town Kahramanmaras province is mentioned as the location of Aṣḥāb al kahf in the book of Qadi Ahmad. In addition, narratives on Aṣḥāb al kahf around Nigde and very striking information about Decius are included in his book. The hill known as GöbekliDağ today which is located at the centre of Nigde is mentioned as the location of Decius's tomb in the aforementioned book. With this study, the opinions of Qadi Ahmad have been evaluated as a support to the researches claiming the location of Aṣḥāb al kahf is in Afsin, Maras.
